Welcome to Marylebone Dance Studio at 12 Lisson Grove. As you see, we're on the ground floor, with one step up from the pavement.

Come on in...!

The entrance lobby, with a small office to your left. Here's the corridor, with changing rooms off to the left, leading to the studio and waiting area.

The men's changing room with WC, shower, basin, mirror and a bench with hooks for clothing. Next door the women's is similar but slightly larger.

Here's the kitchen area, seen from the small waiting area. There's a sink, fridge, kettle and mugs.

And the waiting area, with a glimpse through to the studio itself. Watch your bag! That's Baryshnikov (autographed) on the wall - we're proud of him!

This is our small meeting room, next to the studio, which is available for hire as a production office, quiet room, for costume fittings or discreet hissy-fits. Some days June Gamble does Life Coaching sessions here. It's small, airy and private with a desk, telephone and 4 chairs.

The studio! You're looking at the main area 22' (6.7m) by 30' (9.14m) from the L-shaped extra part 12' by 12' (3.6m). Those left hand doors lead to the Piano Room and the right hand ones out onto the fire escape (popular with smokers, as we're a non-smoking building!). Sound system with CD/cassette.

The studio is light and airy, with mirrors along the wall opposite the big windows, which look out over a private yard and across to a small private school's playground.

And again.

From the other wall, looking into the Piano Room and along to the sound system and fire exit. In the Piano Room we store fitness mats, theatre props, conference equipment, fold-up tables and 27 chairs.

And, of course, the piano - no battered rehearsal joanna, this, but an elderly and well-preserved Bechstein grand, which can be manoeuvred into the main studio for auditions, castings or music rehearsals.

That's dancer Saju Hari in the studio.

And this is Tim Tubbs in the office, where UKFD manages dance artists, trains dance managers and tours dance shows... in between running the studio. That's dancer Cody Choi taking a break from rehearsals.

Now you have a sense of what the place offers and looks like, come and pay us a real visit at Marylebone Dance Studio. Thanks for taking the virtual tour.
