ABOUT THE DANCE STUDIO

Marylebone Dance Studio is central London’s intimate, private dance studio, managed since 1998 by UK Foundation for Dance. We are not a dance school. We do not run full-time courses. We do not offer any regular classes specifically for children or under-16s. We do not engage dance teachers.

We have one single studio, which we offer for hire on a weekly or daily basis (not by the hour) Mondays- Fridays 10am-6pm. We don’t let the studio by the hour, and it’s almost never available evenings or weekends because of our regular open class programme. We are usually booked Monday – Thursday most weeks by Ballet Black, although there are gaps and Fridays tend to be available.

We host a programme of regular weekly classes, open to the public, in a range of dance, martial arts and body conditioning styles.

We are home to Independent Dance Management Network. The office is shared by Morton Bates Arts Services, Longrun Artistes, Ballet Black and Flatfeet Dance Company. Marylebone Dance Studio is a hub of independent dance activity.

We have a small meeting room (The IDMN Centre), ideal for one-to-one advice sessions, client meetings
(up to 4 people), interviews and as a production office or costume fitting room for studio users.
