Animal Cavalcade, Ilfracombe (2007)

UKFD identified and engaged three dance artists (Sin-Man Yué, Saju Hari and Gerrard Martin) to devise and deliver this youth dance residency in April/May 2007 for North Devon Theatres’ Education & Outreach programme. 20 young people (aged 8-18 years) spent an intensive two weeks (9-20 April 2007) with the three artists, learning a wide range of dance styles, and creating a 45-minute performance of dances, each reflecting a different dance style and member of the animal kingdom, culminating in two performances at The Landmark Theatre, Ilfracombe (Thursday 17 May 2007).
